Course description

In any workplace, you need to communicate effectively when the stakes are high, opinions vary and emotions run strong.

Effective conflict management  can enhance creativity and innovation. 

This Physician Leadership Institute course will teach you how to successfully manage conflict through conversation and negotiation — including  how to use facilitation and resolution processes, and how to avoid the difficulties conflict.

Expect to learn how to:

  • analyze the dynamics and politics of effective negotiation;
  • differentiate between types of conflict and conflict management styles; and
  • develop effective strategies for managing various groups of people and building coalitions with them.
